Our Mission to Empower
A spirit of service shapes all that we do. Haven 4 Hope Foundation grew from a journey rooted in direct outreach to people living with homelessness, incarceration, and deep uncertainty. After years spent volunteering in weekly meal programs and conducting street outreach, our founder, Martha Mitchell, realized that lasting change needed everyone's involvement, not just government or large organizations. Through continued learning and by listening to stories from the community, a vision emerged: treat each person as unique, worthy of compassion, and capable of success. With support from caring, like-minded friends, the foundation took shape - built on the promise of restoring dignity and challenging the cycle of poverty. Today, our commitment is to walk beside those overcoming hard times, guiding them toward independence and hope, and uniting neighbors, donors, and partners in building a more inclusive and supportive community.
